Publisher Ads Ops + Ad Product Selling Specialist

The ideal candidate comes from the publisher side of digital advertising. Youve run ad operations built and launched ad products and know how to package and pitch inventory to agencies and brands. You understand how publishers make money from programmatic and direct-sold advertising and youre comfortable working across ad servers SSPs exchanges and other ad tech partners.

What Youll Do:

• Support online publisher operations and ad ops including campaign setup trafficking and delivery
• Build new ad products and formats and take them to market
• Create pitch decks media kits and sales materials for agency and brand audiences
• Work with ad tech intermediaries such as SSPs ad exchanges and similar partners
• Help optimize yield fill rates and revenue across programmatic and direct channels

What Youll Need:

• Background at a digital publisher or media company in ad ops ad product or revenue operations
• A track record of launching at least one ad product or new ad format
• Strong pitch deck and sales storytelling skills
• A solid understanding of the ad tech ecosystem (ad servers SSPs DSPs exchanges PMPs)
• Hands-on experience with an ad server such as Google Ad Manager (GAM)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Header bidding experience (Prebid Amazon TAM/UAM)
• Experience with SSPs such as Magnite PubMatic Index Exchange or OpenX
• Private marketplace (PMP) and programmatic guaranteed deal setup
• Yield management and pricing strategy (CPM floor pricing)
• Audience data first-party data or contextual targeting products
• Experience with video CTV native or high-impact ad formats
• Revenue reporting and analytics (GAM reporting Looker or similar)
