Job Summary
Our part-timecustodian position helps to keep Stark State buildings offices and classrooms clean sanitary and in orderly this job you will playanessentialpartin ensuring that students enjoy well maintained and clean facilities while theyre focusing on their studies. What you do matters here!
Typical Hours of Work:
Typical hours scheduled are Sunday through Thursday -11:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.
Location: Stark State Main Campus (6200 Frank Avenue North Canton OH)
Pay:$15.09 - $19.60/hour (based on experience) plus a $0.50/hour shift differential

Typical Responsibilities Include:- Maintain building cleanliness all aspects of cleaning including floors windows walls fixtures restrooms ceilings furniture whiteboards trash and recycling removal.
- Perform routine light maintenance room set ups and moving furniture.
- Floor care (buffing stripping and waxing) as requested. Use of environmentally approved products & equipment.
- May drive vehicle to move items from building to building etc. as requested.
To be Considered Youll Need:
High School Diploma or GED a valid Ohio drivers license and have an insurable record as defined by our agency. The ability to operate cleaning equipment and the ability to frequently carry up to 25 lbs. and lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (although not required):
10 hr. OSHA Certification or ability to obtain this certification within one year of hire.
