PT Custodian

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a diligent and reliable Custodian to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities.

-Location: Oahu HI (Downtown Oahu)

-Employment Job Type: Part-time

-Schedule:Sunday 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM Monday to Thursday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

-Hourly pay rate: $17.27

-Number of Hours: 15.5 hour work week.

-Key Responsibilities:

Sweep mop and vacuum floors

Dust and clean surfaces including windows and mirrors

Clean and sanitize restrooms

Stock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas

Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste

Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored

Report any maintenance or repair needs to management

Perform other assigned duties by your supervisor.

-Skills and Qualifications:

Must successfully pass prescreen check.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Must be able to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping work preferred

Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Must be capable of performing manual labor including cleaning common areas pressing pushing and pulling and frequently lifting and carrying 2550 lbs.

Ability to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel walk crawl squat climb stretch navigate stairs and use a ladder with the ability to stand throughout shifts.

Willingness to learn and participate in training for the position.

Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
