Job Summary

Provider Service Representative Entry-Level (High School Graduate) This is an Onsite Position

Position Summary:
The Provider Relations Specialist serves as a key point of contact between healthcare providers and ProviDRs Care. This role ensures providers receive timely support information and assistance with administrative and operational processes. Its ideal for a candidate with strong communication and organizational skills even without a college degree.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provider Communication:

Respond to phone calls and emails from providers regarding claims billing authorizations and general inquiries.

  • Issue Resolution:

Assist in resolving provider concerns by collaborating with internal departments such as Claims Member Services and Credentialing.

  • Data Entry & Records Management:

Maintain accurate provider records in internal systems including contact information contract status and documentation.

  • Support Provider Onboarding:

Help onboard new providers by collecting forms and documents and guiding them through ProviDRs Care procedures.

  • Training & Materials Distribution:

Distribute educational materials and updates about system changes or policy updates to providers.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all provider interactions and updates are documented accurately for reporting and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Preferred Experience:

12 years of customer service healthcare administration medical office or insurance experience (but not always required).

  • Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

  • Comfortable using computers and basic office software (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook).

  • Ability to learn healthcare terminology and claims systems on the job.

  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in the healthcare industry.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time standard weekday hours.

  • Office-based

  • Occasional local travel for provider meetings or training sessions may be required.
