The Prototype Engineer will be responsible for the planning and test support of the U.S. Navys Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base. This position will complete trials evaluations tests and data collection for the unit.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and be responsible for the testing trials and evaluations onsite
In charge of all model/prototype fabrication and testing
Ensure and deliver successful shock/vibration testing
Conduct all required and relevant data testing and reporting
Develop and maintain professional results-oriented relationships that strengthen FWGs reputation and support positive outcomes through documented communication timely response and issue resolution
Support special studies and prototype validation
Conduct deficiency correction and final test documentation
Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and mission focus across the team
Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Test/Evaluation Systems Engineering or other related field
Licenses & Certifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Experience:
Eight to ten plus (8-10) years of experience in similar positions
Knowledge and experience with test planning data analysis and instrumentation
Significant prototype experience
