Job Summary

Job Title: Prototype Development Engineer

Location: Boulder CO - Onsite
Type of Hire: Full-time

Job Description:

Prototype Engineering and creation
Prototype process definition for small build quantities
Initially support lead DE in hands-on fabrication tasks.
Prepare materials and assemble components for production line.
Load and unload WIP from tools.
Load and unload tools from machines.
Operation of specialized machinery that requires manual skills (ie. sewing machine)
Provide process and tooling improvement feedback to DE.

Required Qualifications:

Designer or maker with prior hands-on fabrication experience.
Knowledge of textiles films synthetics leather adhesives etc.
Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design preferred
