Nationwide IT Services (NIS) a rapidly growing Federal Government contractor is seeking a Proposal Manager / Proposal Writer to join our Capture team. This role is ideal for a strong writer looking to grow in Federal proposal management while supporting all phases of proposal development.

Responsibilities
- Analyze solicitation requirements and assist with proposal outlines compliance matrices schedules and content assignments.
- Develop and edit technical management staffing and past performance sections.
- Transform technical notes and SME input into clear customer-focused proposal narratives.
- Support proposal activities including kickoff meetings color reviews final editing formatting and submission.
- Maintain proposal templates resumes and past performance libraries while ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Write edit and coordinate proposal responses for Federal RFPs RFQs RFIs Task Orders and White Papers.
- Work with Business Development Capture Program Managers and technical SMEs to develop compliant compelling proposal content.
- Bachelors degree in business Communications English IT Engineering or a related field.
- 25 years of experience supporting Federal proposal development proposal writing proposal coordination or technical writing.
- Excellent writing editing proofreading and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Word PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Shipley proposal methodology.
- Experience supporting DoD or Civilian Federal agencies.
- Familiarity with IDIQs GWACs and Federal contract vehicles.
- Experience with compliance matrices storyboards color team reviews and proposal production.
