Job Summary

GeneralSummary: The Property Manager oversees daily operations of assigned affordable housing unitsensuring compliance with federal state and local housing program requirements high tenant satisfaction accurate documentation and safe well-maintained properties. This role actively supports compliance with Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) rental compliance policies LIHTC regulations HUD guidelines and other funder the primary resident-facing manager this position coordinates leasing rent collection maintenance requests eligibility verification and recordkeeping to support operational and regulatory standards across the RESPONSIBILITIES:Tenant Relations & LeasingServe as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding property and lease- related mattersCoordinate move-ins move-outs unit inspections and turnover processesEnforce lease terms house rules and community standards consistently and professionallyEnsure yearly income recertifications tenant eligibility documentation and file audits are accurate and to tenant concerns complaints and service requests in a timely mannerEducate residents about lease terms resident responsibilities and affordable housing Collection & Financial AdministrationAssist in the collection of rents and fees in accordance with organizational policiesTrack tenant accounts delinquencies and payment plansPrepare required documentation and reports related to rent and occupancyMaintenance CoordinationReceive log and track maintenance requests and work ordersCoordinate access to units for maintenance staff and vendorsConduct routine property and unit inspections to identify maintenance needsProperty Operations & Documentation Maintain accurate tenant files leases inspection records and correspondenceEnsure property records are complete and audit-readyAssist with inspections funder reviews and internal auditsMaintain compliance with fair housing and organizational standardsSafety & Community StandardsMonitor property conditions to ensure safety cleanliness and habitabilityReport safety concerns or incidents promptlySupport a respectful stable and well-maintained living environmentWorks with identified Program Staff on maintaining community :Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum Experience Required: A minimum of two (2) years experience in property management or leasing Requirement: Property ManagementREGULATORY:Minimum 21 years of AZ DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card (must maintain valid card throughout employment)Current valid Drivers License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirementsInitial current negative TB test result if required (Employer provides).Questions about this positionContact us
