Pay Range: $20.00$23.00 per hour

Are you dependable detail-oriented and experienced in painting and property maintenance RHF is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician/Painter at Angelus Plaza a premier senior residential community in downtown Los Angeles.

Painting will be the primary responsibility of this position including surface preparation interior and exterior painting and apartment turnovers. The role will also assist with minor repairs and general maintenance to help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

As our Property Maintenance Technician you will support the daily maintenance and upkeep of the community by:

Painting & Surface Preparation:

• Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding patching caulking priming and cleaning.

• Apply paint stain and other finishes using brushes rollers or spray equipment.

• Perform touch-ups and repaint apartments hallways offices and common areas as needed.

• Assist with apartment turnovers by painting vacated units in a timely manner.

• Match colors and finishes to maintain a consistent appearance throughout the community.

• Maintain painting tools equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

General Maintenance & Repairs:

• Perform minor drywall repairs plastering and surface restoration as needed.

• Identify and report maintenance issues needed repairs and potential safety hazards.

• Complete assigned work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed to support property operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience in residential commercial or facility maintenance settings.

• Knowledge of painting techniques materials and surface preparation.

• Ability to match colors and finishes accurately.

• Basic knowledge of drywall repair and general maintenance preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Good communication skills and a positive service-oriented attitude.

• Ability to lift carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand walk bend climb ladders and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and safely handle painting materials dust and related supplies.
