To be considered candidates must have 5 years of progressive accounting experience including 2 years of commercial real estate or property accounting experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.

Job Description
- Manage accounting financial analysis and reporting activities for a portfolio of real estate entities and assets.
- Ensure monthly quarterly and annual accounting closes are accurate timely and professionally prepared.
- Review and approve financial workpapers bank reconciliations escalation billings budgets analyses and GAAP reporting.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of property accountants and support their professional development.
- Partner closely with property management leasing construction asset management and other internal teams.
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting process and monthly financial reporting for senior management.
- Help enforce internal controls identify process or procedural gaps and implement effective improvements.
- Support and improve the use of property management and accounting systems including Yardi and MRI.
- Provide hands-on accounting support during periods of high volume deadlines team transitions or employee absences.
- Lead special projects and contribute to department-wide initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- 2 years of commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
- 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with monthly close budgeting reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Yardi and MRI experience is preferred.
- CPA is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
