Summary of Job Duties:
The Title III Project Program Director (Title III Assistant Director) is a full-time/12 months position and works under the direct supervision of the Title III Program Administration Director. The Title III Project Program Director is second in charge administratively in the Title III Program after the Program Director. The individual in this position is responsible for direct supervision of assigned Title III personnel including but not limited to the Project Program Specialist. This person also acts as the activity director for funded components including but not limited to the Title III Faculty Development Component; delegates work assignments as needed to supervised Title III personnel; compiles Phase I information; develops/compiles information for various Title III reports including but not limited to interim performance report and annual performance report and grant proposals; and additional administrative or supervisory duties as needed for optimal administration of the Title III Program.

Responsibilities
Performance of tasks and related activities to ensure optimum administration of the overall Title III Program including but not limited to:
Assist with overall administration of the Title III Program including but not limited to development implementation and monitoring of activities which the Title III Program Director may be assigned;
Supervise assigned Title III Program Administration staff;
Act as a liaison with program activity directors on an as need basis and compile monthly meeting notes;
Coordinates quarterly and time and effort reporting;
Administers/coordinates all aspects of purchases for resources for faculty staff and administrators as stated in grant applications;
Gather and monitor data from comparable institutions to serve as benchmarks and guides to refine future grant activities and proposals;
Update Title III procedures manual to insure that the Title III guidelines and policies are followed accurately disseminate to activity directors and other appropriate staff;
Oversee the archive of files previous grants reports and other Title III documents;
Attend on- and off-campus professional development activities to stay abreast of current trends in applicable areas; and
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Performance of tasks and related activities to ensure optimum delivery of Phase I information/data including but not limited to:
Identifying and implementing best practice/strategy for collecting and reporting data on graduates from specific graduating classes; and
Submitting results in a timely manner and format for internal review before submitting to federal funding agency.

Performance of tasks and related activities to ensure optimum delivery to the
U. S. Department of Education grant funding agency of:
Grant applications;
Interim performance reports (Mid-year performance report); and
Annual performance reports.

Performance of tasks and related activities to ensure optimum funding development and implementation of Faculty Development Component activities including but not limited to:
Performs duties as activity director;
Prepares activity narrative implementation strategies and timeframe for application to U. S. Department of Education;
Administers/coordinates all aspects for professional development activities for faculty to travel for professional development activities; and
Completes and submits quarterly reports.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education Administration Public Administration Business Administration Educational Leadership or a closely related field.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration sponsored programs grant management institutional effectiveness project administration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) EDGAR and federal grant compliance requirements.
  • Experience preparing Annual Performance Reports (APR) continuation applications budget revisions and federal grant reports.
  • Experience managing budgets preparing reports and coordinating multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written verbal organizational analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise information systems.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience administering federally funded higher education grants including Title III Title V TRIO NSF NIH or other U.S. Department of Education programs.
  • Experience coordinating federal monitoring visits audits or compliance reviews.
  • Experience using Workday Banner ERP Argos Cognos Power BI or similar enterprise reporting systems.
