Position Overview
The Project/Warehouse Manager serves as the on-site lead responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and contract operations. This position acts as the primary point of contact for Government representatives and ensures all contract requirements are executed efficiently safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall supervision and direction to warehouse personnel
Plan manage and execute contract operations to ensure successful performance
Monitor workload fluctuations and adjust staffing and schedules accordingly
Optimize resource utilization while minimizing overtime
Implement cost controls and quality assurance measures
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract requirements and deadlines
Conduct inspections and spot checks to verify compliance with procedures and standards
Maintain compliance with OSHA environmental and safety regulations
Ensure personnel are properly trained and qualified
Oversee proper use of Government logistics and warehouse management systems
Support quality control programs audits and corrective actions
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to Government stakeholders
Requirements
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years
Active Secret security clearance required
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and storage procedures
Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations
Valid drivers license
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain installation access
