Our Renewables team delivers the infrastructure that powers communities and advances clean energy. We are seeking professionals who can translate complex procurement and supplier coordination into timely efficient project delivery.
As a Strategic Procurement Analyst (Renewables) II you will sit at the center of ENGIE North Americas Renewables Engineering & Delivery operations supporting the procurement and delivery of critical long-lead equipment across active projects. You will serve as a key connector across engineering project management and suppliersensuring equipment is sourced ordered and delivered on time and on budget. Your work directly drives the successful execution of renewable energy projects across North America.
What You Will Do
- Support sourcing and procurement of key solar and energy storage equipment across renewable projects
- Engage suppliers to gather technical and commercial data required for vendor qualification and system design alignment
- Administer RFQs including coordinating vendor communications tracking responses and supporting bid evaluations
- Manage purchase orders end-to-end including creation issuance and lifecycle tracking
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and performance proactively escalating risks and delays
- Communicate order status and key updates to Engineering and Project Management teams
- Partner with suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve issues impacting project timelines
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Engineering or a related field with foundational knowledge of procurement contracting and supply chain principles
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in procurement supply chain or construction-related environments (e.g. renewables energy oil & gas or industrial projects)
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications to support equipment sourcing decisions
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously with strong accuracy organization and follow-through
- Hands-on experience working with procurement or ERP systems (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa) and Microsoft Office tools including Excel and SharePoint
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating across suppliers and internal project teams
- Working knowledge of commercial negotiations vendor management and supply chain processes within construction energy or industrial sectors
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy and is not eligible for remote work
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $77100 $118220 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
