Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to lead and oversee parking lot sitework projects including excavation grading drainage utilities asphalt paving striping and concrete work. This dual-role position combines the technical expertise of accurate cost estimating with the leadership skills required to manage projects from bid to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for parking lot construction and rehabilitation projects.
- Review drawings specifications and bid documents to determine scope of work.
- Solicit analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Develop proposals budgets and value-engineering alternatives to optimize cost efficiency.
- Project Management:
- Plan schedule and oversee parking lot sitework including excavation grading drainage asphalt paving striping and concrete curbing.
- Coordinate with clients engineers architects and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress budgets and timelines; proactively address issues and delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations environmental requirements and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation including contracts change orders RFIs and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in sitework estimating and project management with emphasis on parking lot construction.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving concrete work drainage systems and site utilities.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. HCSS Bluebeam or similar) and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- OSHA certification or strong safety background is a plus.
