IMPORTANT: This is a 100% on-site position based in Southfield Michigan. This role is not remote or hybrid. Candidates seeking remote or hybrid employment will not be considered.

Position Summary

EPIC Health is seeking a highly organized relationship-drivenProject Manager to lead cross-functional projects while building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians providers practice leaders and internal stakeholders.

This role requires a unique combination ofproject management expertise and physician relations provider relations business development or sales experience. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable developing and managing a detailed project plan meeting directly with physicians and practice leaders building relationships resolving concerns and driving initiatives forward.

The Project Manager will coordinate projects across Operations Clinical IT HR Finance Revenue Cycle Marketing and other departments to ensure initiatives are delivered on time within scope and aligned with organizational priorities.

This is a highly visible hands-on position requiring an individual who can establish credibility with physicians and operational leaders manage multiple priorities hold teams accountable identify risks before they become issues and turn strategic initiatives into completed results.

This position requires a consistent physical presence on-site and regular face-to-face interaction with physicians providers leadership and operational teams.

What Youll Do
Project Management & Execution
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initiation and planning through implementation stabilization and completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans timelines milestones deliverables implementation schedules and success measures.
  • Establish project priorities owners dependencies responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Drive projects forward and ensure stakeholders complete assigned deliverables within established timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks delays resource constraints and operational barriers.
  • Develop and coordinate solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain project documentation status reports action-item trackers implementation plans and other project-management tools.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure decisions commitments and action items are clearly documented and followed through to completion.
  • Provide leadership with timely visibility into project performance risks and outcomes.
Physician & Provider Relations
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians APPs practice leaders and other clinical stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key liaison between physicians clinical teams operational leadership and corporate departments.
  • Meet directly with physicians and practice leaders to understand needs identify concerns communicate organizational initiatives and facilitate solutions.
  • Build physician and provider engagement around new programs operational initiatives technologies workflows and organizational priorities.
  • Use strong relationship-management and consultative skills to gain stakeholder alignment and support.
  • Proactively identify physician or provider concerns that could impact project implementation engagement or operational performance.
  • Coordinate appropriate internal resources to address concerns and maintain strong provider relationships.
  • Support physician onboarding practice integration organizational growth initiatives and other provider-facing projects as assigned.
Relationship Management & Business Development
  • Apply relationship-building business development account management or sales experience to strengthen engagement with physicians and practice stakeholders.
  • Establish credibility and trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate the value and operational impact of new programs services technologies and organizational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen physician engagement and expand participation in organizational programs and services.
  • Navigate objections competing priorities and resistance to change while maintaining productive professional relationships.
  • Partner with Operations and leadership on physician-facing initiatives associated with organizational growth practice integration and new opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Coordinate teams across Operations Clinical IT HR Finance Revenue Cycle Marketing and other departments.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for assigned projects.
  • Clearly communicate expectations deadlines changes responsibilities and project status to stakeholders.
  • Build accountability across teams without relying on direct supervisory authority.
  • Provide real-time visibility into project progress by continuously updating stakeholders on milestones risks decisions and changes.
  • Escalate significant risks delays and unresolved issues to leadership with recommended solutions.
  • Build effective working relationships across clinical operational and administrative teams.
Implementation & Process Improvement
  • Lead the implementation of new processes systems technologies services and operational initiatives.
  • Translate business and clinical needs into actionable project requirements and implementation plans.
  • Support pilots testing workflow validation training implementation and organization-wide rollouts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce costs standardize processes and improve the physician and patient experience.
  • Gather feedback from physicians providers employees and other end users and coordinate appropriate post-implementation adjustments.
  • Support change-management initiatives and ensure stakeholders are prepared for new processes systems and technologies.
  • Assist with new practice provider and operational integrations as assigned.
Reporting & Performance
  • Track project performance against established goals timelines deliverables and KPIs.
  • Prepare concise project updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends risks barriers and opportunities.
  • Track physician/provider engagement and project adoption when applicable.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned outcomes and best practices.
  • Recommend corrective actions when projects or initiatives are not meeting established expectations.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Healthcare Administration Project Management Marketing Communications Information Systems or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3 years of project management project coordination implementation or related experience.
  • Experience in physician relations provider relations healthcare business development medical sales account management or another relationship-driven role involving physicians or healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians providers executives and operational leaders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects priorities deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written verbal interpersonal negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct supervisory authority.
  • Ability to professionally navigate objections competing priorities and difficult conversations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently take initiative and operate effectively in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Southfield Michigan on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with physicians APPs medical practices or healthcare executives.
  • Experience in physician relations provider recruitment healthcare sales pharmaceutical/medical sales healthcare business development or healthcare account management.
  • Experience in ambulatory care physician practice operations healthcare operations or a medical group environment.
  • Experience supporting practice acquisitions integrations new-site openings or provider onboarding.
  • Experience implementing technology software EHR or workflow solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum Lean Six Sigma or other process-improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with project-management platforms such as Smartsheet Microsoft Project Asana or similar tools.
  • PMP CAPM Lean Six Sigma or other relevant project-management certification.

On-Site Work Requirement

This position is designed as anon-site relationship-driven role. The Project Manager is expected to work directly with physicians providers leadership and operational teams and must be available for in-person meetings project implementations problem-solving and other business needs.

This is not a remote or hybrid position. Candidates seeking remote or hybrid employment will not be considered for this role.

Travel to other EPIC Health locations may be required based on project and operational needs.
