Description:

Position Purpose

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives from concept through successful implementation. This role is responsible for assessing organizational needs developing project plans coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and aligned with Mercy Cares mission and operational goals. The Project Manager will work closely with leadership internal stakeholders and external partners to drive innovation improve organizational effectiveness and support exceptional care for the communities we serve.

What You Will Do

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to define project goals scope deliverables timelines and success metrics.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans schedules and resource allocation strategies.

  • Monitor project progress budgets risks and performance indicators while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams subject matter experts vendors and operational leaders to achieve project objectives.

  • Facilitate project governance activities meetings documentation and executive-level reporting.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks dependencies and barriers to successful implementation.

  • Support organizational change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.

  • Utilize project management tools and reporting systems to track milestones document decisions and maintain project records.

  • Conduct project closeout activities including lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Demonstrate Mercy Cares mission vision and values in all interactions with patients colleagues and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Healthcare Administration or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.

  • At least five (5) years of experience managing complex projects across multiple environments or industries.

  • Proven experience managing program and process improvement initiatives technology implementations and facility-related projects.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience developing and managing project budgets.

  • Ability to analyze complex systems solve problems and drive organizational change.

  • Excellent communication relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and project management software.

  • EPIC experience preferred.
