What you can expect to work on
Niowave is an engineering playground where you will be engaged in supporting processes across multiple major programs that have a direct impact on cancer patient survival. The Project Manager successfully plans executes and controls cross-functional projects across business units to ensure projects are efficiently completed on schedule within budget and delivered per defined business requirements specifications and success criteria.
- Manages all assigned projects to successful completion while ensuring that project governance portfolio management and financial management standards are met
- Measures projects success against approved business cases to ensure projected benefits are realized prior to project closure
- Leverages familiarity and experience with Lean and A3 concepts in problem definition.
- Provides concise effective project storytelling in progress updates
- Participates in PMO Process and Tooling improvement efforts while being a PMO champion of change
What you need to succeed
- Bachelors degree in STEM related field. Equivalent combination of applicable education training certification or experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 3 years of Project Management experience
- Experience includes:
- High proficiency and proven successful delivery of project management and/or agile methodologies (PMI Scrum Waterfall Hybrid Agile development Scaled Agile and lean techniques and methodologies (Disciplined Agile SAFe etc.)
- Collaborating with and managing cross-functional teams including business subject matter experts technical experts and compliance teams for project execution
- Training/exposure to applying change management concepts to project execution including assessing stakeholder readiness building awareness and understanding supporting adoption and reinforcing sustained change
Senior Project Manager requirements include:
- Bachelors degree in STEM related field. Equivalent combination of applicable education training certification or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 8 years of Project Management experience of progressive complexity
- Experience includes:
- High proficiency and proven successful delivery of project management and/or agile methodologies (PMI Scrum Waterfall Hybrid Agile development Scaled Agile and lean techniques and methodologies (Disciplined Agile SAFe etc.).
- Collaborating with and managing cross-functional teams including business subject matter experts technical experts and compliance teams for project execution
- Launching new business operations in new locations/facilities and all steps required for successful launch of new business operations
- Exceptional technology skills you find working with any software very comfortable and you easily adapt to new products; Highly efficient with MS Office products and AI; Expert skill with project tracking such as MS Project and Smartsheet
- Project Stages and Gate reviews for alignment sponsorship and effective change control
- Application of change management concepts to project execution including assessing stakeholder readiness building awareness and understanding supporting adoption and reinforcing sustained change; experience with the Prosci ADKAR model preferred

Other things to know
- Full-time position
- The companys standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
- This position will have regular working hours Monday - Friday within the standard operating hours
- There is an expectation of adjusting working hours outside the standard hours to meet operational requirements
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area and travel between locations is expected in the role
