Project Manager- Industrial Construction Projects (Refreshes and Infrastructure Improvements

This role is based in Dearborn MI at our clients campus and will require up to 25% regional travel. 

• Manage all areas of project management for industrial construction projects ranging from light space refreshes to capital infrastructure improvements. This includes planning design coordination construction occupancy and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work project delivery resource requirements cost estimates & budget work plan schedule & milestones quality control and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals complete bid evaluations and recommend resources to clients.
• Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
• Coordinate efforts of construction vendors owner-contracted entities A/E firms and internal customer stakeholders to successfully execute project including collaboration with leadership and trades at individual jobsites.
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate timely and coordinated; provide regular financial reporting (cash flow forecasting) to the customer.
• Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
• Create action plans to meet objectives budget and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
• Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer operational project or service activities within own team and other related teams
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Translate difficult or sensitive information to the customer to support decision making regarding project execution..
   

Qualifications :

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelors Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant lieu of a degree a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP PMP and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• IT construction experience in the areas of network setup/design voice/data cabling telephony wireless audio visual security access and monitoring and sound masking.
• General knowledge of leases contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and MS Project
