Project Manager III

The Project Manager III is responsible for overall coordination status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts and establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. This position is also responsible for tracking key project milestones and assisting Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. This position manages multiple large complex projects with greater impact to the enterprise.

• You will review project proposals to define timelines budget limits technical scope and objectives.
• You will build project plans by outlining procedures assigning staff and coordinating each phase of work.
• You will manage budgets and track expenses while accounting for dependencies and critical path activities.
• You will partner with stakeholders internal teams and vendors to align expectations and clarify requirements.
• You will monitor progress through status reports adjust plans as needed and support testing and quality assurance.
• You will lead project execution by guiding teams solving problems and translating business needs into system design.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field of study with an IT focus and 7-10 years of directly related experience in Information Technology project management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in financial services industry is preferred. Preference: PMP (Project Management Professional).
