Project Manager II

AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II in Dallas TX.

Job Details:

• Manage projects involving services provided by multidiscipline design team
• Oversee all phases of projects from planning/initiation to post-construction closeout
• Manage scope schedule and budget for small to mid-sized projects
• Work mostly independently but receive basic instruction on specific assignments objectives complex features and possible solutions
• Produce weekly/monthly reports of project progress and status of resolved/unresolved issues
• Build strong client relationships
• Analyze and apply solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals
• Coordinate work schedules with client staff and contractors
• Responsible for quality control of tasks
• Coordinate procurement of services required for delivery of the project including the design engineer; third-party providers such as survey geotechnical and construction materials testing; and construction
• Coordinate review of engineering team design milestone deliverables by appropriate entities (stakeholders Planning Department Building Inspection etc.)
• Report project status and/or issues to senior management levels of the Program team and/or client leadership
• Facilitate recurring construction progress meetings to identify and resolve potential construction issues
• Review proposed cost and/or time changes received from the Contractor; negotiate a fair value for valid requests and facilitate execution of appropriate change order documentation when needed

Qualifications :

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Office productivity software
2. PDF editing tools: Adobe Bluebeam or PDF-Xchange
3. Project management information system (PMIS): Prolog Primavera Unifier (Skire) Projectwise or Projectmates
4. CADD experience: AutoCAD or Microstation
5. Development and review of construction cost estimates
6. Development and review of project schedules (MS Project or Primavera P6)
7. Design management: contract negotiation review of milestone design submittals for compliance with required scope owner design criteria and applicable codes/standards and facilitation of stakeholder input (progress meetings resolution of review comments)
8. Construction management including review/processing of Contractor requests for information (RFIs) Submittals quantity summaries for monthly pay estimates payment applications and change orders
9. Scaffold User Certificate
10. OSHA Construction Safety and Health training course confirmation
11. ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician (Grade I)
