Project Manager

The Project Manager at Koops plans and coordinates custom automation projects from design through installation. Working closely with engineering customers and project teams this role helps keep projects moving resolves complex challenges and ensures customer expectations are met.

• Plan coordinate and evaluate project activities from design through installation
• Lead project planning and provide direction and support to project teams
• Serve as a key customer contact throughout the project
• Lead teams in resolving complex technical and project challenges
• Coordinate solutions across mechanical electrical controls and other disciplines
• Manage project priorities timelines and customer expectations
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to keep projects moving
• Travel 1015% to support customers and project installations

This role is built for someone who enjoys variety takes ownership and thrives on solving complex problems. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work with customers and cross-functional teams to turn challenging automation projects into successful results.

• Four-year engineering degree or applicable work experience
• Experience with factory automation and/or manufacturing
• Familarity with mechanical systems sensors robots motion control pneumatics hydraulics and/or vision systems
• Strong communication negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a team
• High level of integrity with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
• Experience with and knowledge of secondary packaging systems is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel 1015%
