Position Summary
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for managing construction projects from initial planning through completion while also preparing accurate cost estimates. This role requires a balance of office-based estimating work and on-site project supervision to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction project management estimating vendor coordination and hands-on field execution particularly within masonry or structural repair environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle from planning through completion
Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets
Review construction drawings specifications and blueprints
Coordinate with clients vendors subcontractors and internal teams
Develop project schedules and monitor progress against timelines
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
Conduct on-site supervision and project inspections
Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor coordination
Track project costs control budgets and manage change orders
Support bid preparation and proposal development
Resolve project-related issues and provide timely solutions
Maintain documentation related to estimates contracts and project execution
Required Qualifications
Experience in construction project management and cost estimation
Strong understanding of masonry construction practices and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Strong analytical and budgeting skills
Experience in client coordination and vendor management
Proficiency with estimating and project management software
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (preferred but not required)
Experience in masonry structural repair or infrastructure maintenance projects
Hands-on field experience in construction environments
Familiarity with bridge repair or parking structure maintenance projects
Work Environment
On-site role based in East Moline IL

Exposure to active construction sites and outdoor environments
