Job Description

What you will be doing

Project execution: Manage multiple projects from intake through final approval ensuring timelines budgets and deliverables are met.
Scheduling and resources: Assign work coordinate internal teams and external vendors and manage resource capacity.
Budget and financial tracking: Monitor project costs labor hours time tracking and profitability.
Client and stakeholder management: Maintain regular communication with clients project teams and senior leadership.
Project reporting: Present project status risks budgets timelines resource needs and issues requiring decisions.
Proposal management: Coordinate project estimates RFP responses and proposals for new business.
Process improvement: Improve project tracking financial reporting documentation and internal workflows.
Team coordination: Motivate coach and support team members while ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
Tools and technology: Use Microsoft Office Microsoft Project AutoCAD and financial or capacity-planning tools.

Experience you will need

Previous experience in project management or project coordination with responsibility for project delivery.
Experience managing multiple projects schedules budgets resources and deadlines.
Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience tracking project costs labor hours resource utilization or profitability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word PowerPoint and preferably Microsoft Project.
Experience using AutoCAD.
Strong organization analytical thinking problem-solving and attention to detail.

Preferred background

Project management in engineering manufacturing construction shipbuilding or other technical environments.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party contractors.
Experience preparing estimates RFP responses and business proposals.
Familiarity with project management and financial tracking systems.
A bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
