Project Machinist Operator

Set up andoperatemachines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Comply withall ofTurboFabsEnvironmental Health and Safety Programs Regulations and Guidelines.

• Must keep all areas clean andorderly;andcomply withTurboFabs housekeeping procedures.

• Mustmaintaina safe working environment.

• Mustmeet production requirements.

• Machine componentsrequiretolerance and meet quality standards.

• Must apply continuous improvement techniques.

• Insureequipment is functioning properly.

• Keep andmaintainrecords and documents as.

• Train less experienced machinists as.

Required Qualifications:

• This position is fora fully competent and qualifiedMachinist and Machine Operators

• Must have at least 1 yearof experience as a machinist or machineoperatorandrequiresminimalsupervision to perform the job.

• Knowledge of setting up and running theproductionmachining equipment.

• Capable ofreading and interpreting drawings.

• Understanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspectmachinedparts.

• Must haveskills knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment.

• Able to work 1st shift as assigned

• Mustexhibitthe skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.

• Good communicationskillsbothverbal and written.

Top Candidates:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3or moreyears of experience as a machinist or machine operator

• Basic computer skillspreferred

• Skillsofsetting up and running the production machining equipment.

• Ability to writechangeand update programs.

• Skills and knowledge in operating Horizontal Boring Machine as well asKurakiCNC Machines.

• Competency to read/write G code as well asFeatureCAM.

**Candidates may be placed on any shift dependent on business needs**

Summary Pay Range:

$25.48 - $38.22

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market location job related knowledge skills individual performance and experience.
