Title: Project Lead 3 Data & AI Program Delivery

Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote) Need Local/Within 100 miles

Duration: Long Term

Position Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Project Lead 3 to support a strategic Data Engineering and AI Adoption Program. This role will work closely with technical leadership to coordinate project activities across data engineering analytics cloud and artificial intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a senior project management professional with extensive experience leading enterprise-scale data analytics and cloud projects from planning through implementation. The Project Lead will oversee project execution facilitate cross-functional collaboration monitor deliverables manage risks and dependencies and ensure alignment among business stakeholders technical teams and AI program participants.

A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and must be clearly listed on the candidates resume.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate complex data analytics cloud and AI-related technology projects.

Support the Technical Project Manager in managing enterprise data engineering initiatives and AI adoption programs.

Develop and maintain project plans schedules milestones budgets and resource allocations.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among business units technical teams vendors and executive stakeholders.

Manage project scope timelines risks issues dependencies and change requests.

Coordinate activities involving data architecture data modeling data warehousing business intelligence and analytics teams.

Track project deliverables and ensure timely completion of project objectives.

Produce executive-level status reports dashboards presentations and project documentation.

Support planning and implementation of cloud-based data platforms and enterprise applications.

Collaborate with data engineers developers analysts architects and business partners to achieve project outcomes.

Monitor financial performance including project budgeting forecasting and resource utilization.

Ensure adherence to project management methodologies governance standards and organizational best practices.

Support initiatives involving healthcare data standards such as FHIR HL7 and CCDA.

Assist with AI and advanced analytics adoption efforts ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.

Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Experience

10 years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data analytics cloud or enterprise technology environments.

10 years managing data architecture data modeling and data warehousing initiatives.

10 years delivering business intelligence big data and analytics projects within complex organizations.

10 years supporting healthcare data initiatives and enterprise data programs.

10 years utilizing SQL and database technologies to support project planning estimation and issue resolution.

10 years managing cross-functional teams vendors stakeholders and project timelines.

10 years defining project scope objectives milestones timelines budgets and success metrics.

10 years of experience with project budgeting forecasting resource planning and financial reporting.

10 years using project management tools such as Jira Azure DevOps Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

10 years creating and maintaining project documentation including charters schedules status reports and lessons learned.

Strong experience working with cloud platforms enterprise applications and modern data ecosystems.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business and executive audiences.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Required

o Certification must be active and listed on the resume.

o Proof of certification may be requested.

Experience working in healthcare public sector or other highly regulated environments.

Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including:

o FHIR

o HL7

o CCDA

Experience supporting AI machine learning advanced analytics or digital transformation initiatives.

Understanding of:

o SDLC methodologies

o Information management principles

o Enterprise architecture concepts

o IT governance frameworks

Strong consulting facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience presenting to executive leadership and facilitating strategic planning sessions.
