Our client a food manufacturing organization based in Nashville Tennessee is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead capital and facility improvement projects across their operations. This is a retained search conducted by Transparent Search Group on behalf of the company. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the Nashville area.
Responsibilities
Plan manage and execute capital improvement and facility expansion projects from concept through commissioning
Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations maintenance quality and external contractors
Develop project scopes schedules budgets and resource plans
Ensure all projects comply with food safety regulations GMP standards and applicable codes
Evaluate and select engineering vendors contractors and equipment suppliers
Track project milestones and report status to senior leadership
Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and infrastructure
Qualifications
Background in food manufacturing is required
Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Working knowledge of food safety standards GMP and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
Experience managing external contractors and cross-functional internal teams
