What You Will Do

As a Project Engineering Co-op (Spring 2027) at Pratt & Whitney you will......

• Immerse yourself in a full-time Monday-Friday co-op session that will run January 2027 - May 2027 (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
• Support engineering related efforts to meet shop and supplier delivery requirements.

• Partner closely with operations quality procurement and engineering discipline SMEs to drive root cause investigations develop associated corrective actions and implement product and process improvements.

• Collaborate with multidiscipline teams to address various production improvement opportunities.
• Track group metrics and look for improvements.
• Coordinate evaluation and response to supplier requests for information electronic Supplier Request for Information (eSRI).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: product design drawing definition/ interpretation or manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint Outlook Excel Teams)
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience research coursework or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience working in the Aerospace Industry within the design and/or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office SAP Teamcenter Unigraphics Ansys and classical methods of analysis.
• Experience with hardware blueprints and manufacturing methods.
• Prior RTX internship co-op or work experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
