Who are we looking for

Our Central US Water business is growing! Were looking for a Project Engineer with expertise in water and wastewater conveyance systems to support and/or lead the design of complex infrastructure projects. This role involves being a key part of multidisciplinary teams supporting design and construction phases and supporting successful delivery of pipeline pump station and related conveyance projects.

You will also work with a team to support client development and strategic growth of the business locally. The purpose is to build credible relationships with clients teaming partners and the community. This position will require a strong ability to support multiple projects and initiatives.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Project engineer for planning design and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance projects including but not limited to pipelines force mains gravity sewers and pump stations.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies contractors internal technical teams and clients as necessary.
• Prepare engineering reports design documents specifications and cost estimates as needed.
• Support permitting and environmental documentation processes.
• Conduct work to appropriate professional standards and to the firms QA/QC requirements. Participates in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers.
• Support proposal development efforts for new business
• Support relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development sales and marketing

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in environmental or civil engineering
• Professional Engineer license in Missouri or ability to acquire upon six months of hiring date
• 5 years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water water resource and/or conveyance projects;
• Experience in water and wastewater conveyance and pump station
• Experience in executing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail schedule and budget
• Ability to present technical information both written and orally in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
