Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support their project management team. This role is integral to the successful execution of HVAC/MEP projects ensuring smooth coordination documentation and communication across all project phases.
- Manage jobsite documentation including RFIs change orders ASIs supplemental design documentation QA/QC and submittals
- Oversee jobsite logistics such as office supplies and badging/orientation paperwork
- Coordinate deliveries of equipment and materials
- Assemble project estimates and budgets
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Attend and participate in project meetings
- Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
- Update and maintain project schedules
- Perform craft productivity tracking
- 2 years of experience in an HVAC/MEP Project Engineering role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in learning and applying technical concepts
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates diplomacy and tact when collaborating with colleagues customers and suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and Project
