Project Engineer (Power Generation)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a rolefocusedon Power Generation projects. This role will support a variety of projects related to power stations roadways landfills renewable energy initiatives and abandoned mine land reclamation projects across Kentucky and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in the power generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for power generation projects including design development and implementation phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects related to power stations roadways landfills renewable energy and mine land reclamation.
• Conduct site visits to project locations across Kentucky and surrounding states ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Prepare technical reports design documents and project plans.
• Oversee project progress ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
• Interface with clients contractors and regulatory agencies to coordinate project activities.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks and provide solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering is required.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience preferably in the power generation industry.
• Experience working on projects related to power stations renewable energy landfills and infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed primarily within the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
