Project Engineer Laredo, TX (Heavy Civil)

Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Heavy Civil division in Laredo TX

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of heavy civil construction projects including roadways bridges underground utilities grading and concrete structures.
• Support project management teams with scheduling budgeting subcontractor coordination and cost tracking.
• Prepare and manage RFIs submittals change orders daily reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with field operations subcontractors vendors and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Track project quantities production rates and material deliveries to maintain project progress and efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules and support monthly progress reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications safety standards and quality control requirements.
• Support project close-out activities including punch lists as-builts and final documentation.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction or related infrastructure projects
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field preferred
• Experience with roadway bridge utility excavation grading or concrete projects is preferred
• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel as required
