Project Engineer II

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer II to lead and support capital projects process improvement initiatives equipment installations and manufacturing optimization efforts at our Philadelphia PA plant. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations Maintenance Quality Supply Chain EHS and external vendors to deliver projects safely on time within budget and in compliance with quality standards.
What You Will Do:
Project Management
Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
Develop project scopes schedules budgets resource plans and risk assessments.
Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders contractors suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manufacturing Process Improvement
Identifyopportunities to improve efficiency throughput yield and reliability.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Equipment and Capital Projects
Lead equipment procurement installation commissioning and qualification activities.
Support automation controls and technology upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineeringor related discipline.
5 years of chemical manufacturing engineering experience or related.
Experience managing capital or process improvement projects.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certificationpreferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Experience with CAD ERP MES or CMMS systems.
