What You Will Do:

As a Project Engineer I at Pratt & Whitney you will..

• Support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of Project Design Structures and Durability disciplines within Hot Section Engineering (HSE)
• Communicate status of technical issues and budget updates to CIPT leaders Hot section Engineering (HSE) leadership internal program offices and external customers.
• Collaborate with purchasing suppliers customer support and sustainment teams to support engine deliveries and address field challenges.

What You Will Learn

• Candidates hired will begin their first 2.5 years at Pratt & Whitney as part of the Engineering Development Program (EDP). This program consists of three rotations that are 12 months in duration and typically occur in three distinct disciplines within the hiring department. The intent of our EDP is to offer breadth & depth in various technical experiences through challenging positions available in our organizations. This program will help expand your professional and technical competencies that will serve as the foundation for exceptional contributions that you will make at Pratt & Whitney.
  

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Engineering major obtained by start date.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint Outlook Excel)
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Experience may be obtained through onthejob experience research coursework or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Bachelors degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Prior RTX internship co-op or work experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
