Role: Project Engineer

Location: College Station TX
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support capital improvement and sustaining engineering projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for coordinating equipment upgrades utility modifications field execution activities and change control processes while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of mechanical and electrical engineering projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate equipment installations modifications utility upgrades and facility improvement initiatives.
• Manage project activities from planning through execution commissioning and project closeout.
• Author coordinate and manage GMP change controls and related documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manufacturing Maintenance Validation Quality and external contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate field execution activities monitor project progress and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure projects comply with GMP safety and quality standards.
• Support project scheduling documentation risk management and contractor oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Experience supporting capital or sustaining engineering projects within pharmaceutical biotechnology or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment modifications.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical utility systems including:
  • HVAC
  • Clean Utilities
  • Process Utilities
  • Compressed Air Systems
  • Water for Injection (WFI)
  • Clean Steam Systems
• Experience managing GMP change controls.
• Experience coordinating field execution activities and contractor management.
• Strong communication organization and cross-functional collaboration skills.
