Project Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project pursuit deliverables including hourly rate build ups general conditions cost build ups long lead equipment tracking and skilled labor curves
• Coordinate with Preconstruction teams to ensure estimates and other deliverables are on track for submission
• Track and evaluate upcoming public and private electrical construction opportunities
• Support the review and scoring of new project opportunities
• Assist with General Contractor and Owner prequalification efforts alongside Risk Management team
• Participate in pre-bid meetings site walks scope alignment meetings and proposal presentations
• Support post-bid follow-up and negotiation processes
• Maintain accurate project pipeline opportunity and client information
• Monitor construction market trends and new opportunities
• Build relationships with General Contractors developers owners and industry partners

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 1 year of experience in construction project development preconstruction estimating or business development
• Required: You understand construction bidding and project development processes
• Bonus Points: You have a bachelors degree in Construction Systems Management Business Engineering or a related field
• Bonus Points: You have experience in electrical mechanical or specialty contracting
• Bonus Points: You have experience with BuildingConnected or similar construction bidding platforms
