Job Summary
Reports to:Director of Strategy & Project Development
Location:Columbus Ohio
Pay Range:$70000 - $90000
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project pursuit deliverables including hourly rate build ups general conditions cost build ups long lead equipment tracking and skilled labor curves
- Coordinate with Preconstruction teams to ensure estimates and other deliverables are on track for submission
- Track and evaluate upcoming public and private electrical construction opportunities
- Support the review and scoring of new project opportunities
- Assist with General Contractor and Owner prequalification efforts alongside Risk Management team
- Participate in pre-bid meetings site walks scope alignment meetings and proposal presentations
- Support post-bid follow-up and negotiation processes
- Maintain accurate project pipeline opportunity and client information
- Monitor construction market trends and new opportunities
- Build relationships with General Contractors developers owners and industry partners
Your Expertise
- Required: You have at least 1 year of experience in construction project development preconstruction estimating or business development
- Required: You understand construction bidding and project development processes
- Bonus Points: You have a bachelors degree in Construction Systems Management Business Engineering or a related field
- Bonus Points: You have experience in electrical mechanical or specialty contracting
- Bonus Points: You have experience with BuildingConnected or similar construction bidding platforms
