Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney

Job Summary
The role
We advise on all aspects of project development and finance across the energy infrastructure natural resources and transport sectors. Our work includes advising on project and financing documentation publicprivate partnerships multisource financings risk allocation and regulatory matters. We act for sponsors lenders governments contractors and investors on greenfield and brownfield projects worldwide including projects supporting the energy transition. Working with colleagues in construction environmental tax regulatory and disputes practices we provide integrated advice from project development through financing and delivery helping clients manage complexity and deliver projects across multiple jurisdictions.
The Washington D.C. office of Clifford Chance seeks finance focused attorneys who have experience in the following areas:
- At least six years of experience focused on US project financing of energy and infrastructure projects
- Holdco financing of energy and infrastructure projects
- US tax equity financings of energy and energy transition projects
- Construction to back-leverage financing; experience with other financing structures involving tax equity/tax credits is a plus
Qualifications :
Your experience
The candidate should have at least six years of experience negotiating credit agreements and collateral documents for energy and infrastructure projects. Admission to the Washington D.C. bar is required.
Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. Subject to the candidates experience the salary range for this role is $390000$435000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
