Project Architect

A well-established architecture and design firm located in Annapolis MD is seeking a project architect (or Project Manager) with 3-8 years of professional experience to join their growing team. Employees work alongside project leadership as a valued member of a project team. Must be well-versed in Revit. Will work on a diverse range of project types including Retail Mixed-Use Facilities Senior Living Religious buildings Fire Stations. Job responsibilities: Perform and collaborate on all phases of interior design assignments including programming client needs conceptual design schematic design design development space planning construction documentation and construction administration; Assist with the development of design concepts and provide graphic and visualization tools for client presentations. Actively participate in client design reviews and presentations; Research manufacturers and participate in the selection and presentation of building materials fixtures equipment finishes color palettes artwork and lighting; Prepare floor plans building elevations and sections. interior elevations and details reflected ceiling plans millwork design and drawings interior layouts finish plans and schedules; Assist in the construction administration phase of projects and review of submittals finish samples sketches and shop drawings. Job requirements: BS in Architecture or Interior Design; 3-8 year experience; Fluency with Revit is required; Familiarity with the design process including the preparation of Construction Documents. #IND
