Job Summary

This role provides project management support for Transmission Project Management (TPM) project teams within a large regulated utility environment. The position supports 2 to 3 Project Managers simultaneously by coordinating project activities tracking deliverables and managing competing priorities and deadlines. The analyst prepares customer correspondence contracts presentations and project-related documentation that become part of the clients official and legal records while also supporting project controls reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Note: Training for approximately 60 days will take place onsite in Pomona. After training is completed flexibility exists to report to a Santa Ana or Rialto location instead of Pomona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support for Transmission Project Management (TPM) project teams.
  • Support 2 to 3 Project Managers simultaneously by coordinating project activities tracking deliverables and managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintain project documentation reports schedules action item logs and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare customer correspondence contracts presentations and project-related documentation that become part of the clients official and legal records.
  • Support project controls and reporting activities including analyzing project data and developing management reports.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites document repositories and project records while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with SAP-related project functions tracking and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization efforts.
Required Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential including proficiency with VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables and working with large volumes of data.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills including experience using and maintaining formatted templates and developing professional business communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare customer-facing correspondence and contract documentation.
  • Experience supporting multiple managers projects or workstreams simultaneously while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with SharePoint and document management.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Experience supporting construction utility infrastructure or capital projects.
  • Experience with Power BI Power Apps and/or Power Automate.
  • Experience with project scheduling and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of project controls reporting and process improvement methodologies.
  • PM Certification is highly desired.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
