Job Description:
As a GRC Administrator and Developer you will be responsible for managing and enhancing a web-based Governance Risk and Compliance platform by performing administration development and troubleshooting activities. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement automation solutions improve compliance processes and ensure seamless integration between systems. This role involves contributing to new development initiatives supporting security and risk management frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient compliance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary administrator and developer for the Governance Risk and Compliance platform
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design automation solutions for compliance processes
Lead automation initiatives for security accreditation including workflow routing and evidence collection
Design and implement security control frameworks aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain Python-based API integrations and automation scripts
Integrate and manage data flows using RESTful APIs in JSON and CSV formats
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from CMDB vulnerability tools and audit systems
Troubleshoot system issues identify root causes and ensure timely resolution
Maintain system documentation code repositories and knowledge-sharing materials
Participate in testing implementation and deployment of new features and enhancements
Communicate with external vendors for platform updates maintenance and issue resolution
Contribute to Agile ceremonies and ongoing improvement initiatives
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
2 3 years of experience in Python programming
1 2 years of experience in API integration and automation using RESTful services
1 2 years of experience working in Agile environments
1 2 years of knowledge in risk management and compliance processes
2 3 years of experience in database design and data management
Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance tools (preferred)
Basic programming knowledge in Java or C#
Experience with DevOps practices and version control systems
Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of integrating and processing structured data formats (JSON CSV)
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as CJIS IRS 1075 PCI and related standards (preferred)
Experience with automated testing and validation processes (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
