Program Technician 2-LCME Coordinator

Job Summary
The LCME Coordinator will support accreditation activities for the School of Medicines Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) program ensuring alignment with the mission goals and strategic priorities of medical education. This includes leading and coordinating accreditation efforts to maintain compliance with all Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) standards and elements as well as all applicable School of Medicine (SoM) UME and OHSU policies and procedures related to medical student education.
Accreditation Compliance and Continuous Monitoring
- Coordinate ongoing LCME accreditation activities to support continuous compliance with LCME standards elements and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor changes to LCME standards elements white papers guidance documents annual questionnaires and accreditation expectations; assess impact and communicate recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify track and evaluate accreditation risks compliance concerns and opportunities for quality improvement; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain accreditation policies procedures bylaws and supporting documentation.
Data Collection Instrument (DCI) Management
- Coordinate the collection validation and analysis of institutional data required for the LCME Data Collection Instrument (DCI).
- Collaborate with faculty staff and institutional stakeholders to obtain and verify information required for accreditation reporting.
- Draft edit and maintain DCI responses to ensure completeness accuracy consistency and compliance with LCME requirements.
- Coordinate annual DCI updates and incorporate feedback from institutional leadership and external accreditation consultants.
- Monitor compliance with LCME standards and elements through ongoing data review and trend analysis.
Survey Administration Data Analysis and/or Reporting
- Coordinate and administer annual internal student survey (ISS) by cohort including survey planning logistics catering communications and data collection activities to achieve a minimum 85% response rate per cohort. Review annual Graduation Questionnaire (GQ). Analyze survey data identify trends and areas of concern and prepare reports dashboards presentations and recommendations for leadership and governance committees to review and/or share. Maintain accreditation metrics and data systems to support continuous quality improvement and institutional decision-making.
- Administer an annual teacher attestation survey by coordinating the collection of faculty teaching rosters for required courses developing and distributing attestation surveys monitoring completion rates and partnering with course directors and coordinators to achieve 100% compliance.
- Administer annual student attestation surveys for second year students ensuring 100% compliance.
Accreditation Committees and Governance Support
- Serve as an accreditation resource to UME committees subcommittees task forces and leadership groups.
- Attend and support curriculum and governance committee meetings to monitor accreditation compliance and identify emerging issues.
- Prepare accreditation-related reports presentations agenda materials and briefing documents for leadership committees and stakeholders.
- Coordinate accreditation-focused meetings and facilitate communication among faculty staff students and institutional partners.
Compliance and Monitoring
- Monitor data and educational program metrics related to LCME standards including pre-clerkship instructional/unscheduled hours and other accreditation requirements. Present findings to relevant stakeholders and committees as directed.
- Analyze curriculum and program evaluation data to identify trends gaps and propose opportunities for improvement.
- Support phase-based curriculum reviews and curriculum-as-a-whole reviews through data collection analysis and reporting.
Self-Study Continuous Quality Improvement and Student Engagement
- Support institutional self-study activities independent student analysis (ISA) processes focus groups and accreditation task forces.
- Coordinate meetings events documentation and follow-up actions associated with accreditation reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor corrective action plans and prepare progress reports to support sustained compliance and institutional improvement efforts.
LCME Site Visit Coordination
- Serve as a primary coordinator for LCME accreditation site visits and mock site visits.
- Develop and manage site visit logistics schedules documentation stakeholder communications meeting coordination lodging transportation catering and other operational activities.
- Coordinate requests from site visitors and ensure timely provision of supporting documentation data and additional information.
- Facilitate site visit preparation activities to ensure institutional readiness and successful accreditation reviews.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Associate Dean Education
- A bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Public Administration or a field directly related to the position will substitute for two years of the required experience.
- Five years of experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and coordination. The experience must have included program evaluation responsibility.
- Note: preference may be given to individuals with experience in a specialty area specific to the position opening.

- Working experience at a higher education specifically in healthcare field.
- Experience working with data visualization software
- Relevant experience using data to support reporting analysis and improvement in a higher education setting.
Office and/or office/telecommute hybrid setting; flexible working hours between 8:00 am 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with high traffic of students faculty and general public.
