Position Summary:
We are seeking a Program Supervisor with the Outpatient Services team.

The Program Supervisor position entails both clinical and supervisory responsibilities for the clinical team including coordination supervision and oversight of clinical services outreach and training. The incumbent must be passionate in caring for our communitys most vulnerable children and continually improving the system which supports their healing and growth.
The Program Supervisor will be a vital support for both her/his own clients and will work within a clinical team. This position is an opportunity to affect change in the lives of children while working at a 100-year-old organization dedicated to the highest quality of care. There will be ongoing focus provided to learn effective treatment theories and skills from our team of highly experienced professionals in the field. The Program Supervisor position is a licensed clinical position within the agency and has administrative supervisory responsibility over their identified program or addition to a strong clinical background the position requires a skillset in providing leadership and management to individuals and teams drive for productivity and operational excellence and meet team mission goals. The Program Supervisor demonstrates mastery of skill in their assigned area and can support team members with training and coaching. This individual will be proactive and experienced in the delivery of quality therapy services known to be effective with children. The incumbent will be solution-focused and elevate the quality of care of all program services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivery of psychotherapeutic clinical care as well as case management as outlined in DBHDS and DMAS regulations for each service area assignment.
Responsible for the development and implementation of Individual Family and Group treatment interventions as applicable.
Responsible for direct therapeutic care of case load and other clinical duties as assigned such as group therapy case collaboration and team coverage. The volume of clinical duties in service of ChildSavers clients will be adjusted as needed to maintain appropriate clinical care for clients stewardship of organization resources and fulfillment of agency mission.
Maintain compliance with all funding source regulations rules and documentation requirements to ensure timely approval of service.
Ensure all clinicians on their team maintain a full case load and are meeting monthly and yearly production expectations.
Ensure compliance with all local State and Federal regulatory requirements including timely and accurate documentation of services provided for: Licensure HIPAA Medicaid Department of Social Services LHRC and other professional standards and funding sources which includes all clinical notes per session are entered within 24 hours after each completed session
Reviews clinical notes of team members as needed to ensure notes are completed without error.
Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance Supervisor to monitor team members clinical paperwork compliance and identify training needs as they arise.
Work under the direction of Program Manager and in your immediate supervisor and in close collaboration with the senior clinical management team.
Report clinical and other concerns as outlined in policy in a timely manner to your clinical supervisor and/or management team.
Coordinate and maintain referrals and conduct intake assessments and diagnoses as needed.
May assist with the management of crisis coordination and the corresponding clinical support team to include the potential for 24/7 emergency availability and response. Provide case consultation and clinical oversight as needed.
Effectively collaborate with colleagues to assure client care is occurring as specified in policy and procedure.
Maintain certifications in behavior management training and CPR/FA and be capable of performing these duties. Maintain all applicable credentialing through continuing education and other requirements outlined in code.
Represent ChildSavers in a positive and professional manner internally and externally as part of the clinical team. Participating in meetings and work with community partners of ChildSavers to possibly include Childrens Mental Health Resource Center Local Human Rights Committee Richmond Promise Neighborhood and Trauma Informed Community Network.
Adhere to all ChildSavers policies and procedures and complete other tasks as assigned including administrative or macro projects which may be necessary for the successful management of the program and staff.
Effectively manages team members (both clinical and administrative where applicable) related to schedule management production goal attainment timely review of staff clinical notes for billing errors responsible for ensuring productivity and financial goals for their team through administrative supervision and shows a competency in sustaining a strong engagement with team members and supervisees.
Performs additional job duties of individually assigned programs including and not limited to program development and support in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
If assigned provide regular clinical supervision for student interns following the current laws and regulations of the Board of Health Professions. Supervision will include clinical and task supervision based on the level of student. Documentation must be maintained regarding frequency and content of supervision.
Required Qualifications:
Leadership skills and experience of 2 years in a supervisory position and/or 4 years in a clinical position.
Experience in compliance with state policies laws and regulations involved in provision of mental health services in Virginia.
Completion of Masters Degree in Social Work Sociology Psychology or licensure track related human services field with at least eight years post-licensure experience preferably working with children from a Trauma Informed Care Perspective. ChildSavers Mental Health Service areas include outpatient therapy psychiatry on-call community support psychoeducational groups and mental health consultation. Specialized modalities include art therapy sand tray therapy play therapy family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Must be licensed by the Board of Health Professions to practice in VA (i.e. LCSW LPC or LMFT) and be able to provide supervision towards licensure under their rules regulations and laws with a minimum of five years experience supervising clinicians or commensurate experience.
Must hold a valid current Commonwealth of VA Drivers License and be insurable to drive a company vehicle.
Other requirements as assigned by DMAS and/or licensure standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to provide supervision and training towards one or more specialized certifications strong preferred. Prefer a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor (RPT-S). Spanish fluency and/or experience providing therapy through an interpreter will be considered a plus.

ChildSavers services occur primarily in office-like settings including an ADA-compliant outpatient clinic and public-school settings as well as occasional community visits. The following physical requirements are in place for all staff:
