Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Program Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and overall effectiveness of the program. This position requires strong organizational communication problem-solving and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Oversee daily program operations scheduling staff coverage and service coordination.
  • Monitor Electronic Health Records (EHR) and client files to ensure documentation is accurate timely complete and compliant with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain current client rosters transportation schedules participation schedules and other program records.
  • Coordinate with clinicians and program staff regarding documentation care plan cycles client needs and follow-up items.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve program processes and service delivery.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients families guardians staff and other stakeholders.
  • Review staff timecards for accuracy and compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
  • Maintain required productivity and caseload standards.
  • Communicate timely and professionally through Outlook and other agency systems.
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence to provide operational support and engage with staff and clients.
  • Obtain required client or guardian signatures and ensure documentation is properly completed and maintained.
  • Support a therapeutic supportive and positive program environment.
  • Communicate with families regarding transportation field trips holiday closures and other program-related matters.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work Human Services or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs developmental disabilities at-risk youth and/or mental health challenges.
  • At least 3 years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health social services or residential care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Supervisory experience in mental health developmental disabilities or youth services.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health systems trauma-informed care and best practices for individuals with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams improve programs and maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance.

Driving Requirement:
This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for business purposes.

  • Driving is a required function of this position. Employees must use a personal vehicle that meet all agency requirements including maintaining liability insurance that meets or exceeds state requirements.
  • Employees are responsible for ensuring the timely renewal of their vehicle insurance policies and providing updated documentation to the agency to remain in good standing and compliant with position requirements.

Training:

  • Preferred Training in harm reduction Housing First trauma-informed low barrier service models.
  • RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation which includes CPR/First Aid Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT Trauma-Informed Care Motivational Interviewing Collaborative Problem Solving introductions to all RCS departments and other valuable trainings.
