Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for ensuring the coordination of quality medical services/care for members. The LPN will beworking hands-on at the residential programs as /EXPERIENCE -Degree in Nursing (LPN) required. Minimum one year experience working with individuals with developmental TASKS Ensure a high level of quality assurance regarding members medical needs follow up medical audits on MARs medical files and medication boxes appropriately and ensures staff follow up on appts and needs as effective member/program relationsConduct basic member oversight regarding medical issues and situations and direct further needs to the program supervisor/RN/DONConduct staff training on member medical needs etc. (such as specialized diets/equipment/etc)Conduct training with members on medical issues and situationsThoroughly documents all member medical/health issues and situationsMaintains program operations and facilitates program development along with program supervisorsCooperate with Agency legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigationEnsures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting) Central Registry Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) and motor vehicle checks. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State Federal and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/ other nursing-related duties as assignedSHIFT Various shifts including evenings and weekends as required by program needs. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis but a minimum of 30 hours per month. Full time staff work 40 hours per week.
