Job Summary
Program Manager requires:
- Program Management Project Management Manufacturing Steel Metals Plant Operations Production Planning Supply Chain ERP SAP Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Operational Excellence
- 5 years experience in Program Management Project Management or Operations Management
- Background in manufacturing steel metals or heavy industrial environments
- Plant operations / production environments
- Supply chain and production planning
- Cross-functional program leadership
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.)
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience in steel metals or metal fabrication
- PMP certification or similar
- Engineering or operations-related degree
- Experience leading plant-level initiatives or capital projects
Duties:
- Lead and manage multiple manufacturing and operations programs from planning through execution
- Partner with plant operations engineering and supply chain to ensure on-time production and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma operational excellence)
- Oversee production planning scheduling and workflow optimization
- Manage program timelines budgets and performance metrics
- Identify risks within production supply chain and operations and implement mitigation plans
