Program Manager, Denied Party Screening (DPS), DPS Onboarding and Business Integration

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join a centralized Denied Party Screening (DPS) team focused on denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes. This team enables Amazon to comply with regulations as well as understand and manage sanctions risk.

As the Program Manager you will lead a variety of projects with significant scope and impact supporting several different areas of the this role you will work to deliver value to the customer manage sanctions risk and track and drive the timeline of multiple projects. The program is cross functional and requires strong communication skills to coordinate onsite and remote work with teams across the this capacity you will gain valuable exposure to many areas within our global business.

You will coordinate with DPS management tech operations Amazon Legal and multiple other teams in the development of project management standards and other efforts that enable operations and manage risk. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management to improve denied party and sanctions screening systems and processes.

As a Program Manager you will anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make trade-offs and balance customer and business needs versus resource constraints. In this role you will:

- Develop and manage projects from beginning to end including project scope timeline capacity planning resource allocation and project execution.

- Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope identify issues and devising contingency plans.

- Identify and manage project dependencies risk based prioritization and critical paths.

- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.

- Work independently and remain flexible with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain resilient attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Communicate effectively across onsite and remote teams globally to coordinate project execution and stakeholder alignment.


A day in the life
The Program Manager II position manages end-to-end project delivery across multiple business units with diverse compliance requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills to coordinate complex initiatives manage dependencies and make independent decisions with high accuracy. The position performs project management for business population onboarding manages risks and timelines and supports the team in implementing effective compliance controls and a given day the PM will be managing multiple project related tasks and will have negotiation and unblocking discussions with multiple stakeholders involved to Deliver Results.

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- PMP certificate

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
