Program:Womens Rise

Location:New Haven CT

Salary: $60000-$65000/year

Schedule: Full time; 40 hours; Monday-Friday; 1st shift (9:00a-5:00p) with on-call requirements and flexibility to meet program needs

The Connections Community Justice Services are grounded in the belief that every individual has the potential to change and lead a healthy productive life. Our programs promote public safety while reducing barriers for individuals reentering and living in the community using a trauma-informed person-centered approach.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Womens Rise Program. Womens Rise is a 24/hr residential work release program that supports adult women who are currently under the supervision of Parole. This position provides supervision to program staff ensures adherence to contractual expectations and internal policies and procedures and promotes a structured trauma-informed environment that supports successful community re-entry through the delivery of case management services job development and linkage to community based treatment. This role provides on-call support to program staff and participates in an on-call rotation as needed. The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead support and supervise the operations of the Womens RiseProgram
  • Implement and oversee systems and processes to enhance service effectiveness and contract compliance
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with state agencies and community partners
  • Oversee staff performance training and professional development
  • Provide on-call support and leadership coverage as needed
  • Ensures program aligns with Department of Correction (DOC)regulations

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in program operations and staff supervision
  • Knowledge of Connecticuts DOC service system
  • Experience working with individuals impacted by the criminal justice system

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelors Degree and 5 years related experience/3 years supervisory
  • ValidDrivers License

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection newly hired employees will be required to attend a three (3) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
