Job Summary
Position SummaryThe Program Leader II is responsible for providing support to the Site Director and Program Leaders in their efforts to provide a safe healthy and supportive environment during the expanded learning hours at their assigned site.
Primary Role and ResponsibilitiesMentorSupport Site Director in building a high-performing site teamSupport Program Leaders to become successful and effectiveCreate a physically and emotionally safe environment at site for both staff and studentsEnsure that every student feels known accepted valued and respected; communicating in ways that build and maintain high levels of trustSite Support:Maintain awareness of program goals and processesUnderstand State and Federal grant requirementsSupport Site Director to meet or exceed grant mandated attendance levelsServe students snack and complete daily and weekly snack attendance reportsEnsure food safety and meet CACFP requirementsAssist with timely completion of data entry reports and attendancePromote and maintain a culture of safety and well-being with students and staffEnsure that activities are age-appropriate engaging and exciting to studentsExpectations and Accountability:Support and demonstrate commitment to the ProYouth vision and goalsEstablish clear consistent expectations for behavior and positive disciplineSupport Site Director in setting and achieving meaningful goalsComply with ProYouth Employee Handbook and other Policies and ProceduresBuild positive and professional relationships with coworkers supervisors ProYouth executive and administrative staff site principal teachers and parentsComplete responsibilities accurately and on time Perform related duties as assigned within your scope of practice and training
Education and ExperienceBachelors Degree is preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent AND48 completed College Units ORNCLB Paraprofessional CertificationA minimum of two years experience working with youth is desirable
