A Bachelors degree in a qualifying Social Science field is Social Science degrees include but are not limited to:PsychologySociologySpecial EducationRehabilitation CounselingSocial Work (meeting applicable educational requirements)RecreationRecreation TherapyOccupational TherapyPhysical TherapyHuman ServicesOther closely related Social Science disciplinesApplicants without a qualifying Social Science degree do not meet the minimum educational requirements for this Type: Full-time Exempt Salaried SupervisorScope of RoleResponsible for managing the services delivered to a designated program or set of programs and overseeing the overall operation of those ResponsibilitiesOversee the organization and implementation of direct supports person-centered planning health care coordination advocacy stakeholder relations regulatory compliance staffing training financial management census management and maintenance of the physical JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed ManagementRecruitment & HiringParticipate in hiring events as needed and partner with Talent Acquisition to identify hiring needs for Direct Support Professionals and Program Supervisors in consultation with the Area & TrainingOrganize and implement on-site orientation and training for assigned programs monitor training compliance and documentation conduct monthly staff meetings and attend regional meetings as SchedulingDevelop and monitor staffing schedules to ensure all shifts are covered while minimizing ManagementConduct performance snapshots and evaluations for direct reports. Review and approve evaluations for Direct Support Professionals and other assigned & Employee RelationsCoach employees address performance concerns recommend disciplinary action when appropriate and partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations discipline and SafetyPromote employee safety oversee workers compensation processes assist employees returning to work and ensure compliance with company safety ManagementProgram PlanningServe as the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) when applicable.
