JRIs Developing Abilities programs provide comprehensive support for individuals with developmental disabilities offering services that promote independence skill development and community integration.

The Program Director will oversee Residential Day Habilitation and Employment Day Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our residential programs create safe supportive living environments where individuals receive personalized care and assistance tailored to their unique needs.

Our day habilitation program provides innovative community-based day supports in small groups to help adults with significant learning needs develop valuable skills enhance their quality of life and achieve their personal goals. Our employment day services help individuals develop essential employment-related skills and successfully navigate various work environments to secure and maintain meaningful competitive employment.

Schedule: This is a full-time in-person role that requires this role you will commute between programs located west of Boston and in MetroWest Massachusetts. The main office is located in Framingham MA.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $53000 to $128000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee all operational systems including recruitment hiring training human resources quality nursing clinical and administrative/fiscal functions.
  • Lead the JRI Developing Abilities administrative leadership team (Ad Team). Recruit hire train supervise and evaluate members of the Ad Team.
  • Manage and monitor site-level and overall division income and expenses.
  • Provide after-hours on-call coverage for all division services.
  • Ensure systems are in place for best practices data-informed efforts and continuous quality improvement of services including DDS CARF and MassHealth licensing certification and accreditation systems.
  • Manage and ensure systems are in place to prevent report follow-up on all incidents complaints and investigations.
  • Monitor and ensure all systems are in place to protect the rights and responsibilities of individuals served as well as adhere to all human rights reporting procedures.
  • Oversee and implement systems for trauma-informed strength-based positive behavior support practices in line with program guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise the systems for handling complaints and grievances mandated reporting protocols incident reporting and documentation protocols/timelines.
  • Act as the Human Rights Officer and report to the Human Rights Committee.
  • Implement division policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and JRI policy.
  • Develop an annual comprehensive statement of program goals and objectives that align with the current JRI strategic plan and address specific program and client need.
  • Participate in JRI central Program Director group Risk Management activities and Safety Committee activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Masters degree in psychology education social work or related field preferred.
  • At least five years experience in program for population served with at least three years at the management level.
  • Must have experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • This position may require you to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Available to work evenings holidays weekend shifts as required.
