Job Summary
What to expect.
Responsible for the overall operations and management of the Programs that are assigned to them. Maintains compliance with government regulatory bodies and other related accreditation organizations
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide an organizational structure that is satisfying and helpful to the clients who are served.
- Ensure program compliance with all regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- Provide implement and maintain a system for continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure that the programs mission and its services are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Supervise train hire discipline and manage program coordinators and their roles to provide specific services
- Keep Programs within budgeted expenditures and develop programming and structure that ensures that budgeted revenues are obtained.
- Attend and participate in Core Service Agency meetings Behavioral Health Administration meetings and other community and service organizations to keep informed and provide feedback.
- Provides leadership in supervising and monitoring the behavior of clients. Assures expectations and house rules are clearly defined and adhered to.
- Maintains professional education and competence through participation in ongoing meetings workshops and seminars.
- Keeps abreast of current trends and developments in the field.
- Identifies training needs for staff. Plans organizes and or conducts trainings on pertinent clinical topics.

The pay range for this position is $79567.50 minimum to $92700 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to years and level of related experience.
What we need from you.
- Work requires general and specific knowledge of behavioral health recovery and rehabilitation generally obtained by five years of experience working with adults with mental illness and a bachelors degree in social work psychology rehabilitation or related mental health field. Masters degree is preferred.
- Must be a licensed mental health professional at time of hire or possess CPRP (certified psychiatric rehabilitation professional) within 6 months from date of hire and continuously throughout tenure in position. Licensed mental health professional is preferred.
- Work requires two years of supervisory experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with community organizations.
- Ability and desire to work with and advocate for a disabled population.
- Ability to monitor revise and understand the program budgetary process.
- Skills and experience in fundamental MIS design and basic computer skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must possess a current MD State issued Drivers License and have a current driving record with 3 or fewer points on it.
- In keeping with the Maryland Board of Nursing guidelines all nurses must have an active Maryland nursing license to practice in the state of Maryland or must have an active license in a compact state that allows them to practice in Maryland if they reside in that compact state. A multistate licensee who changes primary state of residence to another party state shall apply for a multistate license in the new party state within 60 days. The rule requires that a nurse apply for a new license in a new primary state of residence within 60 days of relocating it does not require the new license be issued withing 60 days.
